Close your eyes
Breathe it in
Life will wait for you, my friend

Feel the ground
Beneath your bones
Remember earth is your true home

Feel alone?
So do I
Turn your face up to the sky

Breathe it in
Once again
No time’s more valid than the now we’re in

Life is painful
With hints of bliss
Allow your skin to feel the sun’s warm kiss

Breathe again
Fill your gut
Enjoy the journey, avoid shortcuts

What tears us down
Empties our cup
Allow the sun and breath to fill you up

There will be no rescue
No knight in steel
YOU are your calvary; allow yourself to heal

Breathe in deeply
To clear your mind
Make sure your inner voice is compassionate and kind

You alone will rescue you
Plant the seeds deep within your soul
When the right time comes, you’ll know to sow

No one is like you
No one could know
What ails your mind; introspection will help you grow

I am not this body
I’m not just this soul
I am not the price tag cut from my clothes

I am everything around me
I’m the creator of my tale
My thoughts, my words, and my actions all
determine where I’ll sail
