Tippy toe
If you know, you know
Better a friend
Than a foe

Tippy toe
Watch your words
Walk feather light
Like a little bird

Tippy toe
Say the wrong thing
Bad timing
They’ll surely blow

Tippy toe
Lose yourself
Melt away
Into someone else

Tippy toe
Hush your thoughts
Appease and please
More often than not

Tippy toe
Learned as a child
To keep things pleasant
To keep things mild

Tippy toe
Don’t stoke the fire
Avoid getting burned
Avoid the gunfire

Tippy toe
Don’t wake the crier
As they lay eggshells
Take the road higher

Tippy toe
If you know, you know
Better a friend
Than a foe
