Snow fell from the skies
It blankets our trees
Turns everything white
Makes everything clean

Snow fell from the skies
Some piss and moan
I laced up my boots
Trudged outside alone

Snow fell from the skies
I didn’t wear mittens
I wanted to feel
My fingers ice bitten

Snow fell from the skies
Crunches beneath my feet
Dulled ambient noise
I can hear my heartbeat

Snow fell from the skies
Almost forgot it’s beauty
Admired with fresh eyes
She reminded me

Snow fell from the skies
Snowman looks back at me
Red scarf and black hat
Built by little Joey

Snow fell from the skies
I cannot neglect
To keep my eyes fresh
I cannot forget

(Just a fun lil poem I thought I’d write after taking the time to go outside this morning and enjoy the snow like a kid. Felt amazing. 😊♥️)
