My book, A HEAPING HANDFUL OF HORROR, has a new life. 🥹🖤

Years ago, I self-published a collection of strange little nightmares.

• A woman wakes to discover that reality has quietly rewritten itself. (Story: “Wake”)

• A walk beneath the New England pines leads to a weeping little boy with no face. (Story: “Tall Pines”)

• A young woman follows the sound of children to a cottage that shouldn’t exist. (Story: “The Cottage”)

And things only get weirder from there.

Ghosts.

Killers.

Cosmic dread.

Psychological fractures.

The end of the world.

Twenty stories.

Twenty strange little exits from reality.

And, because apparently I cannot behave myself for an entire book, a little dark humor and humanity woven through the horror.

Then something happened:

A publisher found it.

Velox Books reached out to me and offered A Heaping Handful of Horror a new home.

I signed the contract, handed my weird little creation over… and waited.

Today, I saw this incredible new cover for the first time.

It’s ALIVE. ⚡️📚 🥂🍾

There is something indescribably surreal about seeing stories that once existed only inside my head come back into the world like this.
