In 2021, I self-published A Heaping Handful of Horror — twenty strange, dark, psychological, occasionally funny, and decidedly unhinged little stories that came crawling out of my brain.

And I was darn proud of it.

Then something happened that I genuinely never expected… but of course, always hoped for…

A publisher found it.

They read my weird little book.

They liked my weird little book.

They offered me a contract for my weird little book.

And now, years after I first held a copy in my hands, I’m holding it again — this time professionally published.

The official release date for A Heaping Handful of Horror is October 23, but we’re currently in the soft-launch phase + copies are already making their way out into the world.

Which is WILD.

So naturally, I had to document the moment:
